My uncle had a stroke a couple months ago and is now disabled. He's only 49. Applying for any government financial assistance takes a long time. But bills still need to be paid in the meantime, which he cannot do on his own now. There's been a lot of other issues leading up to this including multiple deaths in our family, and my grandma had a stroke literally four days before he had his. So funds in general are stretched pretty thin already and insurance isn't helping anymore. We're doing what we can but between caring for him and my grandma, everyone is feeling the stress. So we would really appreciate any help. https://gofund.me/b115c54c
So Clone Wars is one of my favorite shows. But there are some episodes that make me wonder why. I've found lists of essential episodes to watch(many with some variations), but rarely why we should or shouldn't watch them. So I put together a complete list of what episodes are worth watching vs skipping and why. Of course, it's still somewhat subjective, but I tried to keep it as neutral as I could(by basing it off plot relevancy). Y'all are welcome to check it out. And if you think I'm wrong or have suggestions, feel free to message me about it! I'll probably be constantly going back and editing it for a while. Changing my mind and all that, ya know?
It's in chronological order, with links to the episodes on Disney+, which I got from star wars dot com.
Arcs/connected episodes are grouped together, and you can filter categories of episodes out based on various criteria. It's clunky, and might be easier if you skip the filter feature, but it's what I could do and maybe it'll help someone. I'm hoping this will be useful to someone, so please let me know if you did.
I wanted to make this for awhile so I could share it with people who were considering watching the show, but didn't want to put up with the more useless episodes. I only actually did it recently because a friend was asking for recommendations on which episodes to skip for a marathon.
So he made it through the night, but his condition was still really bad. His family decided to take him off life support and he passed away about an hour later.
Part of what makes this so hard is that it was completely unexpected. If he'd been sick or something, there would have been some time to come to terms with it beforehand. It's so weird to think that someone can be perfectly fine one moment, and not the next. Gets me into some sort of existential crisis or something.
Long story short, he worked building wood staircases(made some really great stuff), and fell off one headfirst a couple stories onto concrete. He was life flighted to the hospital and stabilized in surgery. But the fall damaged his neck, which cut off blood supply to his brain.
My uncle was a good, kind, and hardworking man. He was about 58, I believe, and could have easily had at least 20 more years in him. He left behind a wife, 8 kids, grandkids(I think 6 is the current number), siblings, and friends. He was the bishop for his local church congregation(lds) and will be missed by everyone there too. There was no shortage of prayers.
Being religious, I know he'll be okay. He has his parents and father-in-law(my grandpa) waiting for him. Now he has the opportunity to help others through organ donation. It still hurts, but that means he is loved.
He's :devtaichikitty:'s dad. Maybe show her support if you can.
Man, I hate 2020.
