So last week, I totally lost grip strength in my hand. Felt weird and I just couldn't do my job. So I went to the doctor. I had some suspicions, and she confirmed that I have some carpal tunnel issues. But also cubital tunnel (which is similar but located at the funny bone). They're basically pinched or irritated nerves. So I'm hoping I caught it early enough that surgery is unnecessary. I don't think it's severe, since it still feels pretty normal, for the most part. Although that does have the downside of making me think I'm exaggerating or the problem is gone. Just gotta remind myself that the loss of grip strength and dexterity last week was absolutely abnormal. It doesn't seem that bad now, thankfully.

May the Fourth be with you I still don't think I've recovered from the Clone Wars series finale. Those last two episodes have scarred me with such dreadfully impactful content. It was beautiful and tragic. And also two years ago. With a Star Wars thought out of the way, I think I should officially say I'm more active on tumblr than I am here (my art blog is kanigit-a3). It wasn't something I intended to do, just something that happened as everyone else started leaving dA and interaction seemed to decline. I still check in here occasionally, but not exactly as frequently as I used to. Sorry. Not to worry though, I'm not abandoning the site. I still think the format is good for keeping a person's artwork organized and easy to navigate. Even if I still prefer the format pre-eclipse or whatever this web layout was called. I don't understand how artists could switch to twitter or instagram. They have terrible organization and it's impossible to just browse. Not ideal for posting art at
